The New Honeymoon Cabin

Christine
,
"in the hole" in their side yard, construction zone. Soon this place will be transformed into a land of cascading streams and pools, teeming with fish and shaded by exotic trees and flourishing folliage. The streams which will flow down the hill, over gardens of embedded rock, are to areate the main pond, which needed more oxygen than the fountain could provide.

This place is already a Utopia for all kinds of bird life and now the fish will enter with them into glory! The snapping turtles however, are still in danger of being picked off by Richard. He walks in the gardens by day, dreaming up new, elaborate landscapes and dwellings to build, but never strays far from his smoking rifle, from whence his mild manners give way to vengeful wrath in the sight of turtles!

You guide me with Your counsel and afterward You will receive me into glory,
whom have I in heaven but You
and there is none on earth
that I desire but Thee.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the Rock of my heart
and my portion forever

Psalm 73: 24-26
