A Place for Sharing your Inspirational Poetry

What is it then, brothers? Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation,
has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up. 1 Co. 14:26

God made us a vessel to contain and express His Life. No amount of money, education, pleasure or success can fill up the God shaped vacuem in our being. Only God's Life can fill us and satisfy us. This forum of Christian poetry, inspirational poetry, family poetry and fellowship is a dining table where we can feast and be filled with the Lord Jesus Christ as food. As He says in John 6:35, "I Am the Bread of Life, he who comes to Me shall by no means hunger, and He who believes in Me shall by no means ever thirst."

Did you know that the immeasurably rich, uncreated God, the Creator of the heavens and earth, became a Man? He lived a perfect human life, then willingly went to the cross where He died an all inclusive death which conquered sin, death and the devil. He rose from the grave victorious over every negative thing in the Universe. Through all His processes of incarnation, human living, death, resurrection and ascension, He became a Life Giving Spirit, so that upon our invitation and desire towards Him, the fullness of His Spirit could enter into US and become our very life and living. Why Did God Save Us (hint - it wasn't so we could go to heaven)

Consecration

Before I even pick it up, Lord
I lay it down
knowing full well
even my breath
is an issue of your mercy
and my hope
but an extension of your grace

Antidote to Anxiety...
(It's okay to try this at home)

"To know the Lord intimately, to be enriched by the words of the Word of God, and to be consecrated to the Lord in detail with a life lived only unto Him, is a compelling and full time, conscious pursuit of the Lord."

On Bended Knee

On bended knee, Lord
I take my place

On bended knee, Lord
With unveiled face

My heart now soft
So quickly turns

For You alone, Lord
My heart now yearns

With face unveiled
My inward burns

To know You, to love You
Your move to trace

As here I kneel
With unveiled face

Beginnings & Endings

To be lost is to be human
but to seek Truth is divine

May we therefore know full salvation,
for by re-birth is the divine seed implanted

Just as a door is not the home,
only the entrance into it.

To pray, then, is not to talk about God
in an aimless, indefinite way:

To pray is to seek, to enter, to taste, even to fondle
an intimacy transcending all things previous

Priority One
The days never pass
But what I ask...
"My Lord what can I do?"
My heart's desire
Is to be all on fire,
A son with His will in my heart.
