God,
So Personal
|
God like
the wafting of morning’s
honey suckle air
Passing through my hopeless, fractured soul
With noises of love wooing my shuttered eye
God my friend
so kind
Sparking buoyant thought propelling hope
and breathing
heartbeats of sighs made lovely midst my
spacious days
God to
darkened ones a frozen thought in space
but to me, Love by new wine given
By whispers melting inside new hearts on earth
where I live
|
To be lost is to be human
But to seek the Truth is divine:
May we therefore know full salvation,
For by re-birth is the divine seed implanted
Just as a door is not the home,
only the entrance to it.
To pray, then, is not to talk about God
in an aimless, indefinite way:
To pray is to seek, to enter, to taste,
even to fondle
An intimacy transcending all things previous.
