This was the first trip my mom and I had been on together (just the two of us) for many years.

We had more fun than I expected, visiting
the Amish in Shipshewana,taking a Notr e
Dame University tour, experiencing the Chocolate Cafe in South Bend and Chicago, where we stayed with a dear couple in the Lord that we hadn'tpreviously met. The Lord richly blessed our time, beyond what we had expected. A cheerful heart is good medicine! We had a good dose of cheer as we laughed ourselves beyond ourcontrol, several times on the trip. What a great sense of humor my mom has and how much fun she is to be around! I hope we don't wait 30 years before doing it again!
